There are places that shape an identity. Puyoô, a small village in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, is one of them. It is here, in 3,600 m² of workshops, that each pair of EliSola shoes comes to life — with the care of those who have been making shoes forever.
A story rooted in the Pyrenees
Since 1974, our workshops have continued a working tradition inherited from the region, the one that already worked flax for the espadrilles of Mauléon. Taken over in 1998 and modernized in 2011, they are today the beating heart of EliSola — a place where heritage and innovation naturally coexist.
120 people. One goal.
It’s not algorithms that make your shoes — it’s women and men. Nearly 120 employees put their precision and pride into every step: cutting, assembly, stitching, finishing. One gesture after another, one pair after another.
Tradition enhanced by technology
Since 2017, our workshops have been equipped with state-of-the-art CNC digital cutting machines. Millimeter precision, zero material waste, and improved working conditions for our teams. 21st-century craftsmanship is this: the human hand, amplified by the machine.
Custom-made: because every foot is unique
Since 2004, our workshops have included a dedicated podo-orthotics division. Orthopedic insoles, custom shoes designed right here, down to the millimeter — for those who no longer want to choose between comfort and style.
At EliSola, every pair tells a story — that of a workshop, a region, and the people who give their all to keep your feet happy.
